UK Masters degree graduate, Guitar instructor and member of Z-Axis (a jazz combo who play "a lot of real book standards, some Wes Montgomery, Joe Henderson, Thelonious Monk, Jobim, etc."), JAF member, and plays with the BAJA band. The site includes his teaching, vacation and gig schedules, links to guitar-related sites, his bio, photos, info on local area music programs for young people, guitar workshops, and much more.

Origins Jazz Series

The Origins Jazz Series is the intersection of some of Lexington’s most respected venues, jazz artists, and festival organizers. It is a series that is designed to build on the current energy of jazz as a popular art form in Lexington and Central Kentucky.

The Jazz Arts Foundation, Inc. is a non-profit, educational organization whose mission is “to enhance the awareness of Jazz as a performing art.” Since its establishment in 1989, the Foundation has published newsletters, coordinated jazz calendars, awarded educational scholarships and sponsored many jazz events and performances.
