Jazz Live at the Library – March 9, 2023 – Tim McCord and The Library Players – 7:00-8:15pm

The Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library are proud to continue Season 14 of Jazz: Live at the Library!, a series of monthly concerts held at the Farish Theatre in the Central Library Branch, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington. Show #162 features Tim McCord and The Library Players. The Library Players is a Trio created to accompany Tim McCord for tonight’s un-rehearsed performance, an evening of jazz classics inspired by the music of John Coltrane, Stan Getz, Sonny Rollins & more. Joining Tim on saxophone will be Ross Whitaker/guitar, Danny Cecil/bass and Dave McWhorter/drums. Not only is this performance un-rehearsed, but this group has never played together before. Should be fun!! Don’t miss it.
