Jazz Live at the Library – July 11, 2024 – Mike Wade Bop Quintet – 7:00-8:15pm

The Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library continue their Season 15 of “Jazz: Live at the Library!” a series of monthly concerts held at the Farish Theatre in the Central Library Branch, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington. Show #178 features the Mike Wade Bop Quintet. This group is led by Cincinnati Jazz Hall of Famer Mike Wade playing trumpet. Joining Mike will be Edgar Byers/saxophone, Bill Johnson/bass, Jackson Steiger/piano and James Gaiter/drums These monthly concerts are sponsored by Jamey Aebersold Jazz (www.jazzbooks.com) and the Jazz Arts Foundation, Inc. www.jazzartsfoundation.org with the technical help from the Lexington School for the Recording Arts.
