The Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library continue their Season 15 of “Jazz: Live at the Library!” a series of monthly concerts held at the Farish Theatre in the Central Library Branch, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington. It’s a quick turnaround for our next Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winery. This Sunday, September 1,  3:00-6:00 pm,  is the makeup date for our July concert which had to be postponed because of weather. This concert will feature Gotcha’ Covered, led by our good friend Mark Gardner. Mark, playing keyboard, will be joined by three musicians making their first appearance on the porch. Unfortunately the rain got us again before the musicians could even get set up for our July concert. However, the calendar has flipped to August and we’re ready to try again. For August we will have one of our all-time fan favorites, the Baja Yetis. They will be performing on Sunday, August 25, 3:00-6:00pm. Artist and Composer, Michael Cruse is a musically captivating talent having captured audiences all around the world. Cruse, a Lexington, Kentucky native, is known for his unique take on the musical stylings of the incomparable Louis Armstrong.
