Jazz Live at the Library – August 8, 2024 – Michael Cruse and Threo – 7:00-8:15pm

The Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library continue their Season 15 of “Jazz: Live at the Library!” a series of monthly concerts held at the Farish Theatre in the Central Library Branch, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington. Show #179 welcomes home Michael Cruse, playing with Threo. Michael, a native of Lexington, is now located in New York City. He is the son of Jazz Arts Foundation director/board member and treasurer Ponice Cruse. Michael will be playing trumpet along with Keith McCutchen/piano, Tom Covello/bass and Dave McWhorter/drums. These monthly concerts are sponsored by Jamey Aebersold Jazz (www.jazzbooks.com) and the Jazz Arts Foundation, Inc. www.jazzartsfoundation.org with the technical help from the Lexington School for the Recording Arts.
