Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winery – David Hall – September 29, 2024 – 3:00-6:00pm

It’s the last full week of September, which means there are only two more Jazz on the Porch at Talon Winery concerts left for the 2024 season. Concert 4 will take place on September 29 at 3:00. We welcome back to the porch our good friend and multi-instrument musician, David Hall. David teaches music as well as performing at Giuseppe’s Italian restaurant. David will perform on the following instruments: clarinet, flute, flugelhorn, keyboard, steel pan drum, alto sax, tenor sax, soprano sax, and ewi. Jazz Live at the Library – September 12, 2024 – Isaac Stephens Quartet – 7:00-8:15pm

The Jazz Arts Foundation and the Lexington Public Library continue their Season 15 of “Jazz: Live at the Library!” a series of monthly concerts held at the Farish Theatre in the Central Library Branch, 140 East Main St. in downtown Lexington. Show #180 welcomes for the first time, the Isaac Stephens Quartet. Joining Isaac on saxophone will be Paul Deatherage playing drums and two other newcomers to the library stage, pianist Will Doty and bassist Tyler Papierniak.
