ALL ABOUT JAZZ: This is a tremendous site for everything jazz. They have a search facility that allows you to search for jazz Foundations/Associations, Societies, Festivals, Musicians, Schools, Record stores, Print Publications, Web Resources, and more by City and State. There are numerous articles on all types of jazz topics,  profiles and interviews, you can "talk jazz" on their bulletin board, check out their photo gallery, and explore their Global Jazz resources. And, of course, you can subscribe to their AAJ Email newsletter.

HEADS UP INTERNATIONAL: Home of the "Enhanced CD", this independant label's site is a must see. Includes an on-line catalog and ordering vehicle, a listing of all their artist's releases, concert calendar, artists bios, feature video, artist's bios, contests, CD Samplers, e-cards, and so much more.

mcg (MANCHESTER CRAFTSMEN'S GUILD) jazz:This site offers new release information, concert dates and ticket purchasing options for their Pittsburg, PA venue,  the MCJ Jazz store for purchasing CDs, an interesting history of mcg Jazz, can sign up for their E-newsletter, you can listen to musical selections by their artists, and lots more.

DAVID LEONHARDT JAZZ GROUP:Listen to great jazz bytes, check out the group's releases, Big Bang Records catalog, group bio, concert schedule, CD reviews, photos, videos, posters, and more. Also learn about David and his group's teaching endeavors through audience development and their introductory programs on jazz as well as arts in education activities. Their "Jazz with Kids" performance/demonstration acquaints children ages 6-12 with concepts, instruments, and styles of jazz and involves audience participation through singing and percussion.

SMITHSONIAN JAZZ:  A wonderfully comprehensive site with links to jazz societies throughout the nation, jazz programs, a mixed media search engine, monthly email newsletter, jazz happenings throughout the nation, and an area specfically dedicated to Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM), celebrated each year.
 
SONGTRELLIS.COM : A how to site featuring (among other things) audio files of rhythms (African, Afro-Cuban, swing), chord progresssions and solos from jazz classics.

ALLMUSIC.COM: This is THE website for ALL things related to commercially available music. You can search on artists, albums, songs, or Classical works. You can then compile lists such as all the albums that a particular artist or song appears on. You can even find lyrics to songs. Also included are New Releases, Editors' Choice, Music Videos, Writers' Bloc, and Top Searches areas to peruse and keep abreast of the latest.
